11  Senator Haridopolos moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment 
14         On page 3, lines 5 through 13, delete those lines
15  
16  and insert:  purchase of horses and shall adopt rules pursuant
17  to ss. 120.536(1) and 120.54, Florida Statutes, to prevent
18  unfair or deceptive trade practices. Vertical integration of
19  services and employees, in and of itself, shall not be
20  considered an unfair or deceptive practice. The department's
21  examination shall include the following: the disclosure of the
22  legal owner and buyer of the horse and any dual agency to the
23  buyer and seller; the disclosure of relevant medical
24  conditions, defects, and surgeries; the conduct or alterations
25  that could affect the performance of a horse; and the need for
26  a written bill of sale or similar documentation.
