Recalculates school district FEFP funding by using a
revised DCD based on the Price Index only (old
methodology) and sets a minimum of 1.0 instead of
the current methodology that uses both wages and
prices, with no minimum.

Following Specific Appropriation 86, DELETE:
The district cost differential (DCD) for each district shall be
calculated pursuant to the provisions of section 1011.62(2), Florida
Statutes.
and INSERT:
The district cost differential (DCD) for each district shall be
calculated pursuant to the provisions of section 1011.62(2), Florida
Statutes. For 2007-2008, the DCD shall be calculated using the price
level index. For districts with a DCD less than 1.0, the DCD shall be
designated at 1.0.
