13 amendment:

16 On page 26, between lines 30 and 31,

18 insert:
19 Section 18. Paragraph (iii) is added to subsection (4)
20 of section 320.08056, Florida Statutes, to read:
21 320.08056 Specialty license plates.--
22 (4) The following license plate annual use fees shall
23 be collected for the appropriate specialty license plates:
24 (iii) Veterans Service Organization license plate,
25 $25.
26 Section 19. Subsection (61) is added to section
27 320.08058, Florida Statutes, to read:
28 320.08058 Specialty license plates.--
29 (61) VETERANS SERVICE ORGANIZATION LICENSE PALTE.--
30 (a) The department shall develop a Veterans Service
31 Organization license plate as provided in this section. The

1 word "Florida" must appear at the top of the plate, and the
2 name of the service organization must appear at the bottom of
3 the plate. Plates shall be available for the following
4 veterans service organizations: American Legion; Disabled
5 American Veterans; Veterans of Foreign Wars; AMVETS; and
6 Vietnam Veterans of America.
7 (b) The annual use fees shall be distributed as
8 follows: 60 percent shall be deposited in the State Homes for
9 Veterans Trust Fund and used as provided in paragraph (4)(b),
10 and 40 percent shall be distributed to the veterans service
11 organization designated on the respective plate and used to
12 support the activities, programs, and projects of that
13 organization in the state for veterans.

17 And the title is amended as follows:
18 On page 4, line 3, after the semicolon,
19
20 insert:
21 amending ss. 320.08056, 320.08058, F.S.;
22 creating a Veterans Service Organization
23 license plate; providing for the distribution
24 of the annual use fees received from the sale
25 of such plates;
