13         Senate Amendment 
14         On page 21, line 27, after the period
15  
16  insert:  The Department of Management Services may retain
17  funds sufficient to recover the costs and expenses incurred
18  for the purposes of managing, administering, and overseeing
19  the Statewide Law Enforcement Radio System. The Department of
20  Management Services working in conjunction with the Joint Task
21  Force on State Agency Law Enforcement Communications shall
22  determine and direct the purposes for which these funds are
23  used to enhance and improve the radio system.
