12  Appropriations (Diaz de la Portilla) recommended the following
13  amendment:

15         Senate Amendment 
16         On page 8, line 10, after the period,
17  
18  insert:  This paragraph does not limit the authority of the
19  local building official to issue a Notice of Corrective Action
20  at any time during the construction of a building project or
21  any portion of such project if the official determines that a
22  condition of the building or portion thereof may constitute a
23  hazard when the building is put into use following completion
24  as long as the condition cited is shown to be in violation of
25  the building code or approved plans.
