15 On page 17, between lines 26 and 27,

17 insert:
18 Section 9. Subsection (2) of section 1008.36, Florida
19 Statutes, is amended to read:
20 1008.36 Florida School Recognition Program.--
21 (2) The Florida School Recognition Program is created
22 to provide financial awards to public schools that:
23 (a) Sustain high performance by being designated as
24 receiving a school grade of "A," making excellent progress; or
25 (b) Demonstrate exemplary improvement due to
26 innovation and effort by improving a letter grade.
