11  Senator Saunders moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment 
14         On page 51, line 29, through page 52, line 21, delete
15  those lines
16  
17  and insert:  
18  credits toward project components. The dollar value of in-kind
19  project design and construction work by the district's local
20  sponsors in furtherance of the comprehensive plan and existing
21  interest in public lands needed for a project component are
22  credits towards the district's local sponsors' contributions.
23         (b)  The department shall distribute funds in the Save
24  Our Everglades Trust Fund to the district in accordance with a
25  legislative appropriation for debt service for Everglades
26  restoration bonds.
27         (c)  To the extent that funds are available, the
28  department may reserve a minimum of $10 million dollars
29  annually from the Save Our Everglades Trust Fund for the
30  purpose of implementation of the River Watershed Protection
31  Plans within the Northern Everglades as identified in s.

 1  373.4595. Distribution of funds from the Save Our Everglades
 2  Trust Fund for the implementation of the River Watershed
 3  Protection Plans shall be in accordance with paragraph (a) and
 4  shall be equally matched by the district and Lee and Martin
 5  Counties by fiscal year 2019-2020 by providing funding or
 6  credits toward project components.  The dollar value of
 7  in-kind project design and construction work by the district
 8  or the counties in furtherance of the River Watershed
 9  Protection Plans and existing interest in public lands needed
10  for a project component are credits towards the district's and
11  counties' contributions.
