11  Senator Bennett moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment 
14         On page 1, lines 30 and 31, and
15         on page 2, lines 1 through 6, delete those lines,
16  
17  and insert:  returned alive or the parent's remains are
18  recovered; provided that, in order to be eligible, the parents
19  of such children must have been bona fide residents of the
20  state for 5 years next preceding their application for the
21  benefits hereof and must be permanent residents of the state
22  on the effective date of this act.
