13 | (g) Beginning July 1, 2001, for each employee who enters |
14 | into a written contract, under pursuant to this section, in a |
15 | school district in which the employee was not employed as of |
16 | June 30, 2001, or was employed as of June 30, 2001, but has |
17 | since broken employment with that district for 1 school year or |
18 | more, for purposes of pay, a district school board must |
19 | recognize and accept each year of full-time public school |
20 | teaching service earned in the State of Florida or outside the |
21 | state and for which the employee received a satisfactory |
22 | performance evaluation. Instructional personnel employed under |
23 | pursuant to s. 121.091(9)(b)3., or receiving retirement benefits |
24 | for any full-time public school teaching service earned outside |
25 | the state, are exempt from the provisions of this paragraph. |
26 | Section 5. This act shall take effect July 1, 2007. |
