11  The Committee on Criminal and Civil Justice Appropriations
12  (Joyner) recommended the following amendment:
13  
14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 1, line 31, through
16            page 2, line 7, delete those lines
17  
18  and insert:  to s. 125 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986.
19  The judicial circuit shall supervise the personnel whose
20  employment is funded under the agreement; be responsible for
21  compliance with all requirements of federal and state
22  employment laws, including, but not limited to, Title VII of
23  the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities
24  Act, 42 U.S.C. s. 1983, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Fair
25  Labor Standards Act, and chapters 447 and 760, and ss.
26  112.3187, 440.105, and 440.205; and fully indemnify the county
27  from any liability under such laws as authorized by s.
28  768.28(19).
29         (c)  The positions terminate upon the expiration of, or
30  substantial breach of, the agreement or upon the expiration of
31  county funding for the positions.
