14         On page 2, between lines 16 and 17,

16  insert:  
17         Section 2.  Beginning in May 2007, the Legislature
18  designates the second Monday in May as "Child Welfare
19  Professionals Recognition Day" to recognize the efforts of all
20  professionals who work with abused children and dysfunctional
21  families. The Department of Children and Family Services,
22  local governments, and other agencies are encouraged to
23  sponsor events to promote awareness of the child welfare
24  system and the personnel who work in the system.
