3     Amendment (with title amendment)
4     Remove lines 182-196 and insert:
5under s. 465.189, with a prescription by a physician licensed
6under chapter 458 or chapter 459. A physician may not enter into
7a protocol with more than 10 pharmacists, the offices of which
8may be located no more than 50 miles from the physicians'
9primary place of practice.
10     Section 3.  Section 465.189, Florida Statutes, is created
11to read:
12     465.189  Administration of influenza virus immunizations;
13physician protocols.--
14     (1)  Pharmacists may administer influenza virus
15immunizations to adults within the framework of an established
16protocol under a supervisory practitioner who is a physician
17licensed under chapter 458 or chapter 459 or by written
18agreement with a county health department. Each protocol shall
19contain specific procedures for addressing any unforeseen
20allergic reaction to influenza virus immunizations.
21     (2)  A physician may not enter into a protocol with more
22than ten pharmacists, the offices of which may be located no
23more than 50 miles from the physicians' primary place of
24practice.
