11 The Committee on Ethics and Elections (Rich) recommended the
12 following amendment:

14 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
15 On page 2, between lines 28 and 29,
16
17 insert:
18 Section 2. Subsection (13) of section 112.313, Florida
19 Statutes, is amended to read:
20 112.313 Standards of conduct for public officers,
21 employees of agencies, and local government attorneys.--
22 (13) COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL ORDINANCES AND SPECIAL
23 DISTRICT AND SCHOOL DISTRICT RESOLUTIONS REGULATING FORMER
24 OFFICERS OR EMPLOYEES.--
25 The governing body of any county or municipality may
26 adopt an ordinance and the governing body of any special
27 district or school district may adopt a resolution providing
28 that an appointed county, municipal, special district, or
29 school district officer or a county, municipal, special
30 district, or school district employee may not personally
31 represent another person or entity for compensation before the

1 government body or agency of which the individual was an
2 officer or employee for a period of 2 years following vacation
3 of office or termination of employment, except for the
4 purposes of collective bargaining. Nothing in This section
5 does not may be construed to prohibit such ordinance or
6 resolution.Water management districts adopting rules under
7 this subsection may enforce the rules as provided in chapter
8 373.

17 insert:
18 amending s. 112.313, F.S.; providing that water
19 management districts that adopt rules under the
20 standards of conduct for public officers may
21 enforce the rules as provided in ch. 373, F.S.;
