11  The Conference Committee on HB 7069 recommended the following
12  amendment:
13  
14         Conference Committee Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         Delete everything after the enacting clause
16  
17  and insert:  
18         Section 1.  Subsection (2) of section 550.135, Florida
19  Statutes, is amended, and subsection (3) is added to that
20  section, to read:
21         550.135  Division of moneys derived under this
22  law.--All moneys that are deposited with the Chief Financial
23  Officer to the credit of the Pari-mutuel Wagering Trust Fund
24  shall be distributed as follows:
25         (2)  All unappropriated funds in excess of $1.5 million
26  in the Pari-mutuel Wagering Trust Fund, collected pursuant to
27  this chapter, shall be deposited with the Chief Financial
28  Officer to the credit of the General Revenue Fund.
29         (3)  The slot machine license fee, the slot machine
30  occupational license fee, and the compulsive or addictive
31  gambling prevention program fee collected pursuant to ss.

 1  551.106, 551.107(2)(a)1., and 551.118 shall be used to fund
 2  the direct and indirect operating expenses of the division's
 3  slot machine regulation operations and to provide funding for
 4  relevant enforcement activities in accordance with authorized
 5  appropriations. Funds deposited into the Pari-mutuel Wagering
 6  Trust Fund pursuant to ss. 551.106, 551.107(2)(a)1., and
 7  551.118 shall be reserved in the trust fund for slot machine
 8  regulation operations. On June 30, any unappropriated funds in
 9  excess of those necessary for incurred obligations and
10  subsequent year cash flow for slot machine regulation
11  operations shall be deposited with the Chief Financial Officer
12  to the credit of the General Revenue Fund.
13         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a
14  law.

23         An act relating to the Pari-mutuel Wagering

26         from the regulation of slot machine facilities;
27         requiring that unappropriated funds in excess
28         of incurred obligations and funds necessary for
29         cash flow in the subsequent year be deposited
30         into the General Revenue Fund at the end of the
31         fiscal year; providing an effective date.
