Immediately following Specific Appropriation 2213, INSERT:
To implement the Florida Strategic Highway Safety Plan, the Department
of Transportation shall authorize the use of funds in Specific
Appropriations 2213, 2214, 2219, 2220, 2221, 2225, 2226, 2227, 2272,
2273, and 2276 for all-weather inverted rib profile markings with an
audible transverse bar to be installed on all new roads and roads being
re-striped for maintenance or reconfiguration. Such markings shall
provide day and night visual, auditory and vibratory guidance in a
continuous line to motorists in wet weather conditions.
Line item amendments are accepted as part of the amendatory process. However, due to the necessity of using computerized systems this may entail a different placement within a budget entity or the renumbering of the specific appropriation items.
