11  The Committee on Criminal Justice (Aronberg) recommended the
12  following amendment:
13  
14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 4, between lines 2 and 3,
16  
17  insert:  
18         Section 3.  (1)  Within 20 days of the effective date
19  of this act, Jennifer Graham shall purchase a structured
20  settlement annuity at a cost of no less than $75,000 for the
21  exclusive use and benefit of her minor children, Ashley
22  Graham, Tyler Graham, and Hunter Graham. Pursuant to the terms
23  of the annuity, each child shall be guaranteed monthly
24  payments beginning on the month following effective date of
25  this act and ending on each child's 18th birthday. Such funds
26  are to follow the children regardless of who their legal
27  custodians are, where the children are living, or Jennifer
28  Graham's legal status as a parent, and shall be in addition to
29  any child support payments that may be owed or owing by
30  Jennifer Graham.
31         (2)  Within 13 months of the effective date of this

 1  act, Jennifer Graham shall purchase a structured educational
 2  fund at a cost to Jennifer Graham of no less than $45,000.
 3  Such fund shall provide a semiannual benefit to each of her
 4  three minor children, Ashley Graham, Tyler Graham, and Hunter
 5  Graham, for 4 years each, beginning on each child's 18th
 6  birthday. Such funds are to follow the children regardless of
 7  who their legal custodians are, where the children are living,
 8  or Jennifer Graham's legal status as a parent, and shall be in
 9  addition to any child support payments that may be owed or
10  owing by Jennifer Graham.
