1	A bill to be entitled
2	An act relating to the Town of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea and
3	the Village of Sea Ranch Lakes, Broward County; amending
4	chapter 2004-446, Laws of Florida; clarifying and
5	delineating the corporate limits of the Town of
6	Lauderdale-By-The-Sea and the Village of Sea Ranch Lakes
7	to include specified lands within said corporate limits;
8	providing an effective date.

10	Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
11
12	Section 1.  Sections 1 and 2 of chapter 2004-446, Laws of
13	Florida, are amended to read:
14	Section 1.  The present corporate limits of the Town of
15	Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Broward County, Florida, are amended as
16	follows:

18	Beginning at the intersection of the south boundary
19	line of Section 7, Township 49 South, Range 43 East
20	with the centerline of the Intracoastal Waterway
21	(Florida East Coast Canal), the POINT OF BEGINNING;
22	THENCE in a northerly direction along the centerline
23	of the Intracoastal Waterway to the intersection of
24	said centerline with a line located twenty-five (25)
25	feet south of and parallel to the north line of
26	Section 7, Township 49 South, Range 43 East; THENCE in
27	an easterly direction along a line located twenty-five
28	(25) feet south of and parallel to the north line of
29	said Section 7 to the intersection of said line with
30	the east right-of-way line of the Intracoastal
31	Waterway; THENCE in a northerly direction along the
32	east right-of-way line of the Intracoastal Waterway to
33	the intersection of said east right-of way line with
34	the southwest corner of Lot 1, Block 16 of TERRA MAR
35	ISLAND ESTATES, SECOND ADDITION, as recorded in Plat
36	Book 31, Page 20 of the Public Records of Broward
37	County, Florida; THENCE in an easterly direction along
38	the south line of said Lot 1, Block 16 to the
39	southeast corner of said Lot 1, Block 16; THENCE in a
40	northerly direction along the east line of said Lot 1,
41	Block 16 to the intersection of said east line with
42	the westerly extension of the south line of Block 12
43	of said TERRA MAR ISLAND ESTATES, SECOND ADDITION;
44	THENCE in an easterly direction along the westerly
45	extension of the south line of said Block 12, along
46	the south line of said Block 12 and along an easterly
47	extension of said south line to the intersection of
48	said extended line with the west line of Lot 1, Block
49	15 of said TERRA MAR ISLAND ESTATES, SECOND ADDITION;
50	THENCE in a southerly direction along the west line of
51	Lot 1, Block 15 and along the west line of Lot 10,
52	Block 11 of TERRA MAR ISLAND ESTATES, FIRST ADDITION
53	as recorded in Plat Book 31, Page 10 of the Public
54	Records of Broward County, Florida to the southwest
55	corner of said Lot 10, Block 11; THENCE in an easterly
56	direction along the south line of said Lot 10, Block
57	11 and along an easterly extension of said south line
58	to the intersection of said extended line with the
59	centerline of Spanish River; THENCE in a southerly
60	direction along the centerline of the Spanish River to
61	a point thirteen hundred and fifty (1,350) feet south
62	of the north line of the Southeast One-Quarter (SE 1/4)
63	of said Section 6, Township 49 South, Range 43 East;
64	THENCE in a southerly direction for two hundred (200)
65	feet to a point on a line located fifteen hundred and
66	fifty (1,550) feet south of and parallel to the north
67	line of the Southeast One-Quarter (SE 1/4) of said
68	Section 6, said point being eleven hundred, twenty-
69	seven and forty-three-hundredths (1,127.43) feet east
70	of the east right-of-way line of the Intracoastal
71	Waterway; THENCE in an easterly direction along the
72	line located fifteen hundred and fifty (1,550) feet
73	south of and parallel to said north line of the
74	Southeast One-Quarter (SE 1/4) of said Section 6 to
75	the intersection of said line with the east right-of-
76	way line of State Road A-1-A; THENCE in a northerly
77	direction along the east right-of-way line of State

80	(850) feet south of and parallel to the north line of
81	the Southeast One-Quarter (SE 1/4) of said Section 6;

83	line and an easterly extension of said line, through
84	Government Lot 2, Section 5, Township 49 South, Range
85	43 East to the intersection of said extended line with
86	the Ordinary Low Watermark of the Atlantic Ocean;
87	THENCE, continue in an easterly direction along said
88	parallel line a distance of 3 miles (15,840 Ft) to the
89	intersection of said extended line with the eastern
90	boundary of the State of Florida; THENCE in an
91	southerly direction along said eastern boundary of the
92	State of Florida to the intersection with a line
93	located three hundred and eighty (380) feet north of
94	and parallel to the south line of the Northeast One-
95	Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Southeast One Quarter (SE 1/4)
96	of Section 7, Township 49 South, Range 43 East; THENCE
97	in a westerly direction along said parallel line to
98	the intersection of said line with the west right-of-
99	way line of State Road A-1-A; THENCE in a northerly
100	direction along the west right-of-way line of State
101	Road A-1-A to the intersection of said west right-of-
102	way line with the north line of the Southeast One-
103	Quarter (SE 1/4) of Section 7, Township 49 South,
104	Range 43 East; THENCE in a westerly direction along
105	the north line of the Southeast One-Quarter (SE 1/4)
106	and the Southwest One-Quarter (SW 1/4) of Section 7,

108	of said north line with the east right-of-way line of
109	the Intracoastal Waterway; THENCE in a southerly

214	County, Florida, lying East of the East R/W line of
215	the Intracoastal Waterway; and, that portion of the
216	Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) (NE 1/4) of the Southeast
217	Quarter (SE 1/4) of the said Section 7 lying West of
218	the West R/W line of Florida State Road A-I-A; and,
219	that portion of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of the
220	Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of said Section 7 lying
221	West of the West R/W line of Florida State Road A-1-A;
222	and, those portions of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4)
