2	A resolution designating March 4-10, 2007, as "Patient
3	Safety Awareness Week" in Florida.

5	WHEREAS, National Patient Safety Awareness Week is a
6	national education and awareness-building campaign for improving
7	patient safety, and
8	WHEREAS, the theme of the 2007 National Patient Safety
9	Awareness Week is "Patient Safety: A Road Taken Together," and
10	WHEREAS, the Florida Patient Safety Corporation and
11	Florida's health care delivery system are committed to
12	partnering with patients to continually improve patient safety,
13	and
14	WHEREAS, the Florida Legislature seeks to improve the
15	quality and safety of health care rendered and to reduce the
16	harm to patients, NOW, THEREFORE,
17
18	Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of
19	Florida:
20
21	That the House of Representatives designates March 4-10,
22	2007, as "Patient Safety Awareness Week" in Florida.
