11  The Committee on Health Policy (Dawson) recommended the
12  following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 28, between lines 21 and 22,
16  
17  insert:  
18         (a)  Unless otherwise specified, the Florida Kidcare
19  program shall be administered through the Division of
20  Children's Health within the Agency for Health Care
21  Administration effective July 1, 2008. All Florida Kidcare
22  administrative activities shall be coordinated by the Deputy
23  Secretary of Children's Health within the division. The Deputy
24  Secretary of Children's Health shall report directly to the
25  Secretary of the Agency for Health Care Administration. The
26  deputy secretary shall be responsible for budget development
27  and policy implementation pertaining to all components of the
28  Florida Kidcare program.
