11  The Committee on Environmental Preservation and Conservation
12  (Gaetz) recommended the following amendment to substitute
13  amendment (484436):

15         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
16         On page 2, lines 26 through 29, delete those lines
17  
18  and insert:  
19         (4)  Fines paid under this section shall be paid to the
20  Department of Environmental Protection and deposited in the
21  State Park Trust Fund.  If a person who receives a citation
22  elects to defend himself in court, the county small claims
23  court for the county in which the violation occurred shall
24  have jurisdiction.  Court costs shall be determined by and
25  paid to the court as ordered by the court.  No person who
26  receives a citation but fails to pay the fine, sign and accept
27  a citation, appear in court, or comply with the court's order
28  may enter any state park property until he has paid the fine,
29  complied with the procedure, or complied with the order.  The
30  department may establish by rule the procedures for giving a
31  citation, giving a notice of appearance in court, payment of

 1  fines, and listing of persons ejected from state parks; the
 2  amounts of fines for civil infractions up to $1,000;
 3  definitions; time lilmits and deadlines; and any other matter
 4  necessary to implement this law.
