14 On page 18, between lines 19 and 20,

16 insert:
17 Section 14. Subsection (7) of section 99.012, Florida
18 Statutes, is amended to read:
19 99.012 Restrictions on individuals qualifying for
20 public office.--
21 (7) This section does not apply to:
22 (a) Political party offices.
23 (b) Persons serving without salary as members of an
24 appointive board or authority.
25 (c) Persons seeking the office of President or Vice
26 President of the United States of America.
