15 On page 40, line 14, through
16 page 41, line 12, delete those lines

18 and insert:
19 103.161 Removal or suspension of officers or members
20 of state executive committee or county executive committee.--
21 (1) The chairman of the state executive committee is
22 empowered to remove or suspend from an office within the
23 chairman's political party any officer, state committeeman,
24 state committeewoman, county committeeman, county
25 committeewoman, precinct committeeman, precinct
26 committeewoman, or other member of a state executive
27 committee, county executive committee, political party club,
28 or other organization using the political party name as
29 provided in s. 103.081 for a violation of the oath of office
30 taken by such individual or for engaging in other activities
31 described in this section.

1 (2) Such violation may include engaging in activities
2 that have or could have injured the name or status of the
3 political party or interfered with the activities of the
4 political party. The chairman has sole discretion to determine
5 if a violation occurred.
6 (3) Upon the chairman's determination that a violation
7 of the oath of office occurred or that an individual engaged
8 in other activities described in this section, the chairman
9 may remove or suspend the individual from his or her office.
10 If the chairman removes the individual from office, the office
11 shall be deemed vacant upon the delivery of the chairman's
12 written order of removal to the individual. When a vacancy in
13 office is created, the chairman shall appoint an individual to
14 serve through the end of the term of the office. If the
15 chairman suspends the individual, the chairman shall determine
16 the length of the suspension.
17 (4) An individual removed from office by the chairman
18 shall not be eligible to serve on the state executive
19 committee or any county executive committee of the political
20 party for a period of no less than 4 years from the effective
21 date of the removal.
