11  The Committee on Banking and Insurance (Deutch) recommended
12  the following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 81, lines 8, through 10, delete those lines
16  
17  and insert:  
18         Section 16.  Subsection (1) and paragraph (a) of
19  subsection (2) of section 624.462, Florida Statutes, are
20  amended to read:
21         624.462  Commercial self-insurance funds.--
22         (1)  Any group of persons may form a commercial
23  self-insurance fund for the purpose of pooling and spreading
24  liabilities of its group members in any commercial property or
25  casualty risk or surety insurance.  Any fund established
26  pursuant to subparagraph (2)(a)1. may be organized as a
27  corporation under chapter 607. Any fund established under
28  subparagraph (2)(a)4. may pool and spread the liabilities of
29  its group members in any commercial residential policy.
