13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 107, between lines 5 and 6,
15  
16  insert:  
17         Section 21.  Paragraph (ee) is added to subsection (1)
18  of section 626.9541, Florida Statutes, to read:
19         626.9541  Unfair methods of competition and unfair or
20  deceptive acts or practices defined.--
21         (1)  UNFAIR METHODS OF COMPETITION AND UNFAIR OR
22  DECEPTIVE ACTS.--The following are defined as unfair methods
23  of competition and unfair or deceptive acts or practices:
24         (ee)  Selectively limiting insurance
25  offerings.--Failing to offer in this state a kind or line of
26  insurance which all insurers or affiliated insurers, as
27  defined by the Financial Services Commission, offer in another
28  jurisdiction. An insurer need not offer every kind or line of
29  insurance, or any particular kind or line of insurance, in
30  this state; however, if, on July 1, 2007, an insurer offers a
31  particular kind or line of insurance anywhere it does

 1  business, it must offer the same kind or line in this state.
 2  The commission shall adopt rules to administer this paragraph.

 9         On page 6, line 4, after the semicolon,

11  insert:
12         amending s. 626.9541, F.S.; providing that an

16         jurisdiction constitutes an unfair method of
17         competition and unfair or deceptive act;
18         providing penalties; providing for rules;
