5 | (7) On or before June 25, 2007, the executive director of |
6 | the Department of Revenue shall notify each property appraiser |
7 | and the chair of the governing body of each county and |
8 | municipality of the amount of the tax levies that will be used |
9 | to calculate each jurisdiction's compound annual growth rate as |
10 | determined in this subsection. On or before July 2, 2007, each |
11 | property appraiser and the chair of each such governing body, or |
12 | their designee, shall report to the executive director whether |
13 | the information that was provided is correct and, if incorrect, |
14 | provide corrected information along with the basis for any |
15 | correction. The Governor may consider failure to report as |
16 | required in this subsection as sufficient grounds to constitute |
17 | malfeasance or neglect of duty by any person required to report |
18 | under this subsection. On or before July 13, 2007, the executive |
19 | director of the Department of Revenue, after consultation with |
20 | the Revenue Estimating Conference, shall determine and publish |
21 | on the Department of Revenue's website the compound annual |
22 | growth |
