11  Senator Geller moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment 
14         On page 56, lines 21-30, delete those lines
15  
16  and insert:  
17         Section 30.  Except as otherwise expressly provided in
18  this act, this act and section 30 of this act shall take
19  effect upon becoming a law, sections 14 through 29 of this act
20  shall take effect only upon the effective date of amendments
21  to the State Constitution contained in Senate Joint Resolution
22  4B or House Joint Resolution 3B revising the homestead tax
23  exemption and providing an exemption from ad valorem taxation
24  for tangible personal property and property used for workforce
25  and affordable rental housing, and sections 14 through 29 of
26  this act shall apply retroactively to the 2008 tax roll.
