11 The Committee on Finance and Tax (Haridopolos) recommended the
12 following amendment:

14 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
15 On page 1, line 29, through page 2, line 21, delete
16 those lines
17
18 and insert:
19 Section 1. For purposes of determining maximum millage
20 rates for the 2008-2009 fiscal year pursuant to s.
21 200.185(5)(a) or s. 200.186(1)(a), a municipality that, as a
22 result of the application of the amendment to s.
23 200.185(1)(b), Florida Statutes, made by section 1, is no
24 longer considered a municipality of special financial concern,
25 shall be treated as if it had never been a municipality of
26 special financial concern.
27 Section 2. This act shall take effect November 1,
28 2007.
