11 The Conference Committee on HB 5009-C recommended the
12 following amendment:

14 Conference Committee Amendment (with title amendment)
15 Delete everything after the enacting clause
16
17 and insert:
18 Section 1. Subsection (2) of section 372.5701, Florida
19 Statutes, is amended to read:
20 372.5701 Deposit of license fees; allocation of
21 federal funds.--
22 (2) The Legislature shall annually appropriate to the
23 commission from the General Revenue Fund for the activities
24 and programs specified in subsection (1) at least the same
25 amount of money as was appropriated to the Department of
26 Environmental Protection from the General Revenue Fund for
27 such activities and programs for fiscal year 1988-1989, and
28 the amounts appropriated to the commission for such activities
29 and programs from the Marine Resources Conservation Trust Fund
30 shall be in addition to the amount appropriated to the
31 commission for such activities and programs from the General

1 Revenue Fund. The proceeds from recreational saltwater fishing
2 license fees paid by fishers shall only be appropriated to the
3 commission.
4 Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a
5 law.

14 An act relating to appropriations to the Fish
15 and Wildlife Conservation Commission; amending

17 requirements for general revenue
18 appropriations; providing an effective date.
