| 7 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |
| 8 |

| 9 | Section 1. Subsection (2) of section 372.5701, Florida |
| 10 | Statutes, is amended to read: |
| 11 | 372.5701 Deposit of license fees; allocation of federal |
| 12 | funds.-- |
| 13 | (2) The Legislature shall annually appropriate to the |
| 14 | commission from the General Revenue Fund for the activities and |
| 15 | programs specified in subsection (1) at least the same amount of |
| 16 | money as was appropriated to the Department of Environmental |
| 17 | Protection from the General Revenue Fund for such activities and |
| 18 | programs for fiscal year 1988-1989, and the amounts appropriated |
| 19 | to the commission for such activities and programs from the |
| 20 | Marine Resources Conservation Trust Fund shall be in addition to |
| 21 | the amount appropriated to the commission for such activities |
| 22 | and programs from the General Revenue Fund. The proceeds from |
| 23 | recreational saltwater fishing license fees paid by fishers |
| 24 | shall only be appropriated to the commission. |
| 25 | Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law. |
