12  recommended the following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments) 
15         On page 8, between lines 29 and 30,
16  
17  insert:  
18         (13)  Each university board of trustees is authorized
19  to establish the following fees:
20         (s)  A technology fee of up to 5 percent of the tuition
21  per credit hour, beginning with the fall term of the 2009-2010
22  academic year. The revenue from this fee shall be used to
23  enhance instructional technology resources for students and
24  faculty. The technology fee shall not be included in any award
25  under the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program.
