An act relating to emergency management powers; amending

s. 252.35, F.S.; requiring the Division of Emergency

Management to review and comment on developments of

regional impact; providing an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

     Section 1.  Present paragraph (y) of subsection (2) of

10

section 252.35, Florida Statutes, is redesignated as paragraph

11

(z), and a new paragraph (y) is added to that subsection to read:

     252.35  Emergency management powers; Division of Emergency

13

Management.--

14

     (2)  The division is responsible for carrying out the

15

provisions of ss. 252.31-252.90. In performing its duties under

16

ss. 252.31-252.90, the division shall:

17

     (y) Review and comment on developments of regional impact

18

that are subject to review under s. 380.06.

19

     Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a law.
