3     Amendment to Amendment (464225) (with title amendment)
4     Remove lines 24-36 and insert:
5     775.215  Residency distance limitations for persons
6convicted of certain sexual offenses; certain local ordinances
7preempted.--The adoption of residency distance limitations for
8persons convicted of sexual offenses, including, but not limited
9to, violations of s. 787.01, s. 787.02, s. 794.011, s. 800.04,
10s. 827.071, or s. 847.0145, regardless of whether adjudication
11has been withheld, is expressly preempted to the state on
12October 1, 2008. The provisions of ss. 794.065, 947.1405, and
13948.30 establishing such distance limitations supersede the
14distance limitations included in any municipal or county
15ordinances adopted on or after October 1, 2008. Any such
16municipal or county ordinances that pertain to residential
17distance limitations adopted prior to October 1, 2008, are not
18affected by the provisions of this section. However, the
