An act relating to the use of the term "illegal alien";

prohibiting the term's use by a state agency or official

in an official document of the state; providing an

effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

     Section 1. A state agency or official may not use the term

10

"illegal alien" in an official document of the state.

     Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2008.
