Section 2. Subparagraph (5) of paragraph (d) of subsection

(3) of section 61.1824, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:

61.1824 State Disbursement Unit.--

(3) The State Disbursement Unit shall perform the
11
following functions:

(d) To the extent feasible, use automated procedures for
13
the collection and disbursement of support payments, including,
14
but not limited to, having procedures for:
15
5. Electronic disbursement of support payments to
16
obligees. The State Disbursement Unit shall notify obligees of
17
electronic disbursement options and encourage their use through
18
promotional material. Any payments made to the State
19
Disbursement Unit that are owed to the obligee shall be
20
disbursed electronically. The obligee may designate a personal
21
account for deposit of payments. If the obligee does not
22
designate a personal account, the State Disbursement Unit shall
23
deposit any payment into a stored-value account that can be
24
accessed by the obligee.
