An act relating to the Wekiva Parkway Protection Act;

amending s. 369.324, F.S.; requiring all agencies and

4

local governments having responsibilities under the Wekiva

5

Parkway Protection Act to make an annual progress report

6

to the Legislature on or before a specified date;

7

providing an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

     Section 1.  Subsection (6) is added to section 369.324,

12

Florida Statutes, to read:

13

     369.324  Wekiva River Basin Commission.--

14

     (6) By December 31, 2008, and thereafter on or before

15

December 31 of each year, each agency and local government having

16

responsibilities to implement the Wekiva Parkway Protection Act

17

shall report to the President of the Senate and the Speaker of

18

the House of Representatives on the progress made in implementing

19

their responsibilities under the Wekiva Parkway Protection Act.

20

     Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a law.
