15 | Section 1. Section 15.0526, Florida Statutes, is created |
16 | to read: |
17 | 15.0526 Official state horse.-- |
18 | (1) The Florida Cracker Horse (Marshtackie) is designated |
19 | as the official Florida state horse. |
20 | (2) This section is repealed July 1, 2018, unless reviewed |
21 | and reenacted by the Legislature before that date. |
22 | Section 2. Section 15.0381, Florida Statutes, is created |
23 | to read: |
24 | 15.0381 Official state coastal aquatic bird.-- |
25 | (1) The brown pelican is designated as the official |
26 | Florida state coastal aquatic bird. |
27 | (2) This section is repealed July 1, 2018, unless reviewed |
28 | and reenacted by the legislature before that date. |
29 | Section 3. Section 15.0386, Florida Statutes, is created |
30 | to read: |

32 | (1) The loggerhead turtle is designated as the official |
33 | Florida state saltwater reptile. |
34 | (2) This section is repealed July 1, 2018, unless reviewed |

36 | Section 4. Section 15.0387, Florida Statutes, is created |

39 | (1) The gopher frog is designated as the official Florida |
40 | state amphibian. |
41 | (2) This section is repealed July 1, 2018, unless reviewed |
42 | and reenacted by the Legislature before that date. |
43 | Section 5. This act shall take effect July 1, 2008. |
