8 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |

10 | Section 1. Paragraph (c) is added to subsection (13) of |
11 | section 775.15, Florida Statutes, to read: |
12 | 775.15 Time limitations; general time limitations; |
13 | exceptions.-- |

15 | (c) If the offense is a second degree felony violation of |
16 | s. 794.011, the offender committed the offense on two or more |
17 | diverse occasions, and the victim was under 18 years of age at |
18 | the time the offense was committed, a prosecution of the offense |
19 | may be commenced at any time. However, if the alleged offense |
20 | occurred more than 3 years prior to the date that such offense |
21 | is to be charged, then the offense shall require proof beyond |
22 | the testimony of a single victim through other corroborating |
23 | evidence. This paragraph applies to any such offense except an |
24 | offense the prosecution of which would have been barred by |
25 | subsection (2) on or before October 1, 2008. |
26 | Section 2. This act shall take effect October 1, 2008. |
