An act relating to paid holidays; amending s. 110.117,

F.S.; revising list of state holidays to include

Presidential Election Day; providing an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

     Section 1.  Paragraphs (f) through (j) of subsection (1) of

9

section 110.117, Florida Statutes, are redesignated as paragraphs

10

(g) through (k), respectively, and a new paragraph (f) is added

11

to that subsection, to read:

     110.117  Paid holidays.--

13

     (1)  The following holidays shall be paid holidays observed

14

by all state branches and agencies:

15

     (f) Presidential Election Day.

     Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2008.
