An act relating to state employees; providing for the

resolution of certain collective bargaining issues at

impasse between the State of Florida and certified

5

bargaining units of state employees; providing an

6

effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

     Section 1. All economic collective bargaining issues for

11

which negotiations have reached an impasse for the 2008-2009

12

fiscal year between the State of Florida and the legal

13

representatives of the certified bargaining units for state

14

employees shall be resolved pursuant to the instructions provided

15

in the General Appropriations Act and the relevant provisions of

16

any legislation enacted to implement the General Appropriations

17

Act for the 2008-2009 fiscal year.

     Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2008.
