An act relating to highway designations; designating a

portion of U.S. 1 as "Palmetto Bay Boulevard" in Miami-

Dade County; directing the Department of Transportation to

erect markers; providing an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

     Section 1. Palmetto Bay Boulevard designated; Department of

10

Transportation to erect suitable markers.--

     (1) The portion of U.S. 1 in Miami-Dade County from S.W.

12

136th Street to S.W. 184th Street, inclusive, is designated as

13

"Palmetto Bay Boulevard."

14

     (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect

15

suitable markers designating Palmetto Bay Boulevard as described

16

in subsection (1).

     Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2008.
