Subsection (9) of section 212.031, Florida Statutes, is repealed.

The exempt status of charges imposed under a contract entered

into before July 1, 2008, terminates no later than January 1,

2011.

     Section 3.  This Act shall Take effect July 1, 2008.

212.08, F.S., relating to the tax exemption for nonprofit

cooperative hospital laundries; requiring a member of a

nonprofit cooperative to immediately divest itself of

participation in the cooperative if it loses its nonprofit

23

status; providing that the provision of emergency services

24

to a nonmember business does not invalidate the

25

certificate of tax exemption; repealing s. 212.031(9),

26

F.S.; repealing the exemption from the tax on the use of

27

real property which applies to charges for the rental,

28

lease, sublease, or license for the use of a skybox,

29

luxury box, or other box seats during a high school or

30

college football game; providing that the exempt status of

31

charges imposed under a contract entered into before a

32

specified date will end after another specified date;

33

providing an effective date.
