5 | Section 48. Subsection (15) is added to section 311.125, |
6 | Florida Statutes, to read: |
7 | 311.125 Uniform Port Access Credential System.-- |
8 | (15) Notwithstanding the provisions of this section, the |
9 | Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles may designate |
10 | the United States Transportation Security Administration's |
11 | Transportation Worker Identification Credential card as the |
12 | Uniform Port Access Credential Card. The department may set and |
13 | collect a fee for entering a Transportation Worker |
14 | Identification Credential cardholder into the Uniform Port |
15 | Access Credential System. This fee may not exceed the actual |
16 | cost to the department. The department is granted rulemaking |
17 | authority to implement the provisions of this section. The |
18 | department may develop an affidavit which may be required for |
19 | criminal history checks pursuant to s. 311.12. |
