An act relating to highway designations; designating a

portion of U.S. 1 as "American Legion Way" in Miami-Dade

County; directing the Department of Transportation to

erect markers; providing an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

     Section 1. American Legion Way designated; Department of

10

Transportation to erect suitable markers.--

11

     (1) The portion of U.S. 1 in Miami-Dade County from S.W.

12

80th Street to S.W. 70th Street is designated as "American Legion

13

Way."

     (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect

15

suitable markers designating American Legion Way as described in

16

subsection (1).

     Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2008.
