and insert:

     (4) A contract worker who does not provide personal care

8

or services to residents or have access to resident funds or

9

other personal property is not required to be screened pursuant

10

to this section but must sign in at the reception desk upon

11

entering the facility, wear an identification badge, and sign

12

out before leaving the facility. The facility shall maintain a

13

log containing the information collected.

14

     (5) The person being screened is responsible for paying

15

the fees associated with obtaining the required screening.

16

Payment for the screening shall be submitted to the agency. The

17

agency shall establish a schedule of fees to cover the costs of

18

level 1 and level 2 screening. Facilities may reimburse

19

employees or contracted workers for these costs. The Department

20

of Law Enforcement shall charge the agency for a level 1 or

21

level 2 screening a rate sufficient to cover the costs of

22

screening pursuant to s. 943.053(3).
