An act relating to service warranty associations; amending

s. 634.4165, F.S.; requiring that, if provided by the

4

warranty holder, warranty registers include the name of

5

the warranty holder and the location of the property;

providing an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

     Section 1.  Subsection (2) of section 634.4165, Florida

11

Statutes, is amended to read:

12

     634.4165  Office records required.--As a minimum requirement

13

for permanent office records, each licensed service warranty

14

association shall maintain:

15

     (2)  A detailed warranty register of warranties in force, by

16

unique identifier.  The register shall include the unique

17

identifier, date of issue, issuing sales representative, name of

18

the warranty holder and the, location of the property if the name

19

and address have been furnished by the warranty holder, warranty

20

period, gross premium, commission to sales representative, and

21

net premium.

     Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2008.
