legislative review and repeal; creating s. 15.0386, F.S.;

designating the Loggerhead Turtle as the official Florida

state salt water reptile; providing an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

     Section 1.  Section 15.0526, Florida Statutes, is created to

12

read:

     15.0526 Official state horse.--

14

     (1) The Florida Cracker Horse (Marshtackie) is designated

15

as the official Florida state horse.

     (2) This section is repealed July 1, 2018, unless reviewed

17

and reenacted by the Legislature before that date.

     Section 2.  Section 15.0386, Florida Statutes, is created to

19

read:

     15.0386 Official state salt water reptile.--The Loggerhead

21

Turtle is designated as the official Florida state salt water

22

reptile.

     Section 3.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2008.
