designating the Loggerhead Turtle as the official Florida

state salt water reptile; providing for future legislative

review and repeal; providing an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

     Section 1.  Section 15.0526, Florida Statutes, is created to

13

read:

14

     15.0526 Official state horse.--

15

     (1) The Florida Cracker Horse (Marshtackie) is designated

16

as the official Florida state horse.

     (2) This section is repealed July 1, 2018, unless reviewed

18

and reenacted by the Legislature before that date.

     Section 2.  Section 15.0386, Florida Statutes, is created to

20

read:

     15.0386 Official state salt water reptile.--

22

     (1) The Loggerhead Turtle is designated as the official

23

Florida state salt water reptile.

24

     (2) This section is repealed July 1, 2018, unless reviewed

25

and reenacted by the Legislature before that date.

     Section 3.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2008.
