The Committee on Community Affairs (Geller) recommended the

following amendment:

     Delete lines 109-112

and insert:

date on which a notice of intent to file a lien has been

8

delivered to the owner by registered or certified mail, return

9

receipt requested, and by first-class United States mail to the

10

owner at his or her last address as reflected in the records of

11

the association, if the address is within the United States, and

12

delivered to the owner at the address of the unit if the owner's

13

address as reflected in the records of the association is not the

14

unit address. If the address reflected in the records is outside

15

the United States, sending the notice to such address and to the

16

unit address by first-class United States mail constitutes

17

sufficient delivery. Delivery of the notice shall be deemed

18

complete upon mailing as required by this subsection.
