An act relating to highway designations; designating the

"John E. Andrews Boulevard," the "George Matthews

Boulevard," the "Angela Webb Hammonds Boulevard," and the

"Willie F. Faust Boulevard" in Duval County; designating

6

the "Dr. Barbara Carey-Schuler Avenue," the "Honorable

7

Robert B. Ingram, Ph.D., Boulevard" and the "Father Emilio

8

Vallina Avenue" in Miami-Dade County; directing the

9

Department of Transportation to erect markers; providing

10

an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

13

     Section 1. John E. Andrews Boulevard designated; Department

15

of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--

16

     (1) The portion of Edgewood Avenue in Duval County between

17

Beaver Street and Roosevelt Boulevard is designated as "John E.

18

Andrews Boulevard."

19

     (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect

20

suitable markers designating John E. Andrews Boulevard as

21

described in subsection (1).

     Section 2. George Matthews Boulevard designated; Department

23

of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--

24

     (1) The portion of Wilson Boulevard in Duval County between

25

I-295 South and Old Middleburg Road is designated as "George

26

Matthews Boulevard."

27

     (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect

28

suitable markers designating George Matthews Boulevard as

29

described in subsection (1).

     Section 3. Angela Webb Hammonds Boulevard designated;

31

Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--

32

     (1) The portion of New Kings Road in Duval County between

33

Davis Street and Myrtle Avenue is designated as "Angela Webb

34

Hammonds Boulevard."

     (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect

36

suitable markers designating Angela Webb Hammonds Boulevard as

37

described in subsection (1).

     Section 4. Willie F. Faust Boulevard designated; Department

39

of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--

40

     (1) The portion of Martin Luther King, Jr., Boulevard in

41

Duval County between Myrtle Avenue and Moncrief Road is

42

designated as "Willie F. Faust Boulevard."

43

     (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect

44

suitable markers designating Willie F. Faust Boulevard as

45

described in subsection (1).

     Section 5. Dr. Barbara Carey-Schuler Avenue designated;

47

Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--

48

     (1) The portion of N.W. 7th Avenue in Miami-Dade County

49

between N.W. 35th Street and N.W. 79th Street is designated as

50

"Dr. Barbara Carey-Schuler Avenue."

51

     (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect

52

suitable markers designating Dr. Barbara Carey-Schuler Avenue as

53

described in subsection (1).

     Section 6. Honorable Robert B. Ingram, Ph.D., Boulevard

55

designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable

56

markers.--

     (1) The portion of Opa-locka Boulevard/N.W. 135th Street in

58

Miami-Dade County between N.W. 7th Avenue and N.W. 47th Avenue is

59

designated as "Honorable Robert B. Ingram, Ph.D., Boulevard."

60

     (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect

61

suitable markers designating Honorable Robert B. Ingram, Ph.D.,

62

Boulevard as described in subsection (1).

     Section 7. Father Emilio Vallina Avenue designated;

64

Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--

65

     (1) The portion of West Flagler Street in Miami-Dade County

66

between 13th Avenue and 14th Avenue is designated as "Father

67

Emilio Vallina Avenue."

68

     (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect

69

suitable markers designating Father Emilio Vallina Avenue as

70

described in subsection (1).

     Section 8.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2008.
