11 | contract for sale and purchase. Effective January 1, 2011, the |
12 | requirements of this subparagraph apply to a personal lines |
13 | residential structure that is located in the wind-borne debris |
14 | region and that has an insured value on the structure of |
15 | $500,000 or more. The seller shall provide a prospective |
16 | purchaser of any such residential property a written disclosure |
17 | that contains the structure's windstorm mitigation rating, based |
18 | on the uniform home grading scale adopted pursuant to s. |
19 | 215.55865. Such rating shall be provided to the purchaser at or |
20 | before the time the purchaser executes a contract for sale and |
21 | purchase. The Financial Services Commission may adopt rules, |
22 | consistent with other laws of this state, to administer this |
23 | subparagraph, including the form of the disclosure and the |
24 | requirements for the windstorm mitigation inspection or report |
25 | that is required for purposes of determining the rating. |
